I desired this chowder to be complete of greens so I began out with onions, carrots and celery earlier than including some garlic, thyme and flour as a thickener. For the beverages I used a delectable ham broth and milk in preference to cream to keep things a touch lighter. The ham, potatoes and corn crammed the soup out and as I regularly do, I added a few white miso paste for even more flavour and a hint of umami.

Now not only is this ham and potato chowder is truly easy to make but it takes much less than half-hour so it's best for any night of the week and in case you make a large batch of then the leftovers are even higher for lunch the next day! right here's to hoping that it starts warming up quickly however until then i have some ham and potato corn chowder to get me through these chilly early spring days!
