  1. Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the meat from the pot and set it aside.

  3. Add the diced carrots and celery to the pot. Cook for a few minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
